Q: IS THIS SITE SECURE?

A: During checkout on our site you might encounter a certificate error message that says that the secure certificate for slgcomic.com does not match the name of the domain you're coming from, more than likely some derivative of slgpublishing.coresense.com or slavelabor.com

Our store is hosted by a company called Coresense, and all of the items reside on a server whose path runs through slgpublishing.coresense.com. Our certificate is under our domain name www.slgcomic.com. In addition, you might enter our site through any number of domains including slavelabor.com, amazeink.com, slgcomics.com, slgpublishing.com and a few others. Our store is supposed to reset the name of the domain to slgcomic.com, however we are encountering a problem with that feature of our store.

So, during checkout you might encounter a warning message telling you that the domain name you are under does not match the domain that the security certificate is registered under. Rest assured that our site is secure and that we are working to figure out a solution to this problem. Simply getting a certificate for every possible domain combination is not an option as security certificates are expensive and buying more than a couple of them is not financially feasible for a small company like SLG Publishing.

If you are using a credit card you might consider using PAYPAL at checkout as the credit card information is entered at PAYPAL and never passes through our processor or website. You don't need to have a PAYPAL account to use your credit card there.
