SLG published Scott Saavedra's first comic book series, It's Science with Dr. Radium, in 1986. He has been with the company ever since though he has also written and/or drawn comics for Disney, Fantagraphics, Dark Horse, Eclipse, and Tundra. Scott is SLG's "Art Director" but that is largely an honorary title given after helping publisher Dan Vado find his hotel room one night following the consumption of 15 White Russians. Currently, Scott is producing SLG's first free weekly webcomic, Java Town. He is happily married and has two great kids, a dog, and too many damn cats.
