Fifteen years ago an young and innocent Jhonen Vasquez set out on a trek across America to visit comics shops and spread the word of his then new comic Squee and Johnny the Homicidal Maniac.
These were in the days before he developed special powers and was able to connect with his audience on a near daily basis via mental telepathy and of course the internet.
SLG produced a special tour shirt for the occasion with art by Jhonen featuring his characters hurtling down the road on their date with destiny. The back side of the shirt lists all of the shops he stopped in and, much to our surprise, many of them are still open to this day! A credit to them!
We are making this shirt available again for a short period to honor what we think is still one of the coolest things ever done by one of our creators and without a doubt the most successful tour we have ever arranged.
